Job Description
- Key Results Expected We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET/VB.NET developer with a strong background in buildingscalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance web applications on the Microsoft technologystack. Function 1: Requirements Gathering and Specification Capture user requests for custom designs and templates Review, analyze and prioritize the requirements based on user demand and overall strategy Compare requirements with existing third-party or internally developed layouts Collaborate with stakeholders, the enterprise architect and internal and external developers to design the best layout/template Write design specifications for custom applications Assign work to developers and oversee the development and test process Function 2: Quality Assurance Design functional tests for new applications Oversee testing and release management Validate documentation Initiate deployment via corporate change management process Assign work to developers and oversee the development and test process Function 3: Communication Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical team members, third-party vendors and stakeholders Develop clear and complete functional specifications, test plans and end user documentation Required Skills Excellent knowledge of Server technologies & architectures (Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS) Excellent knowledge of the .NET framework Very good knowledge of Web Technologies & Languages (AJAX, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, XML, XSLT) Knowledge of Silverlight a plus Proven experience with analyzing and documenting complex processes Proven experience interacting directly with end users Experience with tools and methodologies for requirements gathering and modeling Proven track record in Software Development Excellent writing skills and experience with creating design documents, specifications and test plans. Experience with issue tracking and project management tools Results orientated with good communication and interpersonal skills Good understanding of user needs of a large decentralized organization Experience At least 3 years professional experience with Application architectures, requirement gathering and specification design,
