The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented SQL Server Developer to join our team. As an SQL Server Developer, you will be responsible for the development, design, and optimization of database solutions to support various applications and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization within SQL Server environments. Primary Skillset 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server (versions 2016, 2017, 2019, or later). Strong hands-on experience with T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, and functions. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Profiler, and other SQL Server tools. Experience in database design, normalization, and indexing strategies. Secondary Skillset Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus. Requirements Database Development & Design: Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases and data structures. Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views to support application requirements. Create efficient database schemas, tables, and relationships to optimize performance. Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve query performance. Conduct performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization on large-scale databases. Monitor and troubleshoot SQL Server performance using tools like SQL Profiler and Execution Plans. Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across database systems. Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement database solutions. Write clear and concise technical documentation for database designs, processes, and best practices. Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support for database-related issues, troubleshooting errors and performance issues. Participate in on-call support rotations and assist with production database issues.
