Urgent | API Automation - Rest Assured Job in @ Capgemini Technology

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled API Automation Engineer with expertise in Rest Assured to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing, developing, and executing API test automation frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain API test automation frameworks using Rest Assured, Java, and TestNG.
• Write and execute test scripts for RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Develop automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing of APIs.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate API tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform API validation, error handling, and response verification.
• Work with tools like Postman, Swagger, and JMeter for manual and performance testing.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, plans, and reports.
• Identify, log, and track API defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Stay updated with the latest API testing trends and tools.
