Job Description
- Job Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Development: Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of a coal mining project. Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and work breakdown structures. Secure necessary permits and licenses to operate the mine legally. Design mine layout and infrastructure, including ventilation systems, drainage, and access roads. 2. Team Management: Assemble and lead a diverse team of engineers, geologists, surveyors, contractors, and mine workers. Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and address any safety concerns. 3. Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day mining operations, including excavation, coal extraction, and material handling. Monitor production targets and ensure efficient utilization of equipment and resources. Implement quality control measures to maintain coal quality standards. 4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the mine. Develop and implement emergency response plans. Monitor environmental impacts and ensure compliance with regulations. 5. Financial Management: Track project costs and expenditures against the budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement processes. Report on project financial performance to stakeholders. 6. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to all relevant mining regulations and safety standards. Regularly report on project progress, safety metrics, and environmental performance to management. 7. Production Management 8. Vendor Management 9.
