Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst with expertise in Selenium automation to join our dynamic development team. The QA will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver. They will work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Execute automated regression, functional, and integration tests to ensure the quality of the software.
Collaborate with the development team to understand the system architecture and application features for test creation.
Identify, record, and track software defects and work with developers to resolve them.
Review test cases and recommend improvements to ensure that software products meet user requirements and quality standards.
Perform manual testing when automation is not applicable, especially during the early stages of development.
Analyze test results, log defects, and report on the quality of the product.
Continuously improve automation frameworks and methodologies.
Monitor and troubleshoot automation test failures, and collaborate with developers to fix issues.
Participate in sprint planning and scrum meetings to understand project requirements and provide testing estimates.
Create test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Advanced programming skills including test automation tools and CI/CD integration. Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and JavaScript.
Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks (like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber).
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.).
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
Ability to write and execute SQL queries to validate data.
Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
