The Opportunity | Director/Senior Director - Automation, BFSI We seek an innovative and dynamic Director/Senior Director - Automation for our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) vertical. The Director/Senior Director - Automation will be trusted business advisor & change agent, responsible for working with clients to identify strategic capabilities that create competitive advantage. These capabilities may come in the form of process, information technology, organization enablement or knowledge. She/He will use best practices, benchmarking, and consultative tools to identify, align and change the factors that affect organizational performance, stability, and teaming, to develop comprehensive strategic and tactical transformation recommendations. The Responsibilities Utilize deep industry knowledge in BFSI to drive transformational improvements. Lead end-to-end Automation solution design and development for business development and account management teams. Provide transformational insights and support for pre-sales, sales, and business development activities. Independently deliver client-facing consulting engagements and assessments. Collaborate with regional and global business development teams to integrate Automation initiatives into sales pursuits. Hands-on experience in RPA & AI tools such as Blueprism, Automation Anywhere, Watson etc. Assist in achieving regional and global departmental targets for benefit realization. Develop and implement strategies for automating repetitive tasks and processes within banking, financial services, and insurance operations. Identify opportunities for leveraging robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and other automation technologies to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Lead the evaluation and selection of automation tools and platforms that align with the organization's objectives and technological capabilities. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate automation solutions with existing systems and applications, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity. Design and implement governance frameworks and controls to ensure automation technologies" responsible and ethical use. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on automation best practices and tools, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Monitor the performance and effectiveness of automation initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and refinement. Stay informed about the latest developments and trends in automation technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for their application within the BFSI sector. Work closely with project management, IT, delivery teams to implement solutions as designed and monitor results / impact Create a culture of problem solving by imparting trainings Identify new technologies which can help us improve / our clients business processes Improve existing technology assets / offerings by contributing in refining product backlogs and by supporting POCs The Qualifications 10-15 years of experience in consulting, BPO automation, or related fields with a demonstrated ability to contextualize Automation initiatives for clients in the BFSI sector. Bachelors degree ; MBA preferred. Proven track record leading large-scale transformational projects focusing on process optimization, technology implementation, and change management within BFSI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a history of delivering tangible results. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, adept at engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BFSI and related fields. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Exceptional project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering results. Strong leadership qualities inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
