This job description outlines the key responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required for a Product Reference Data and Pricing Business Analyst (BA). The role involves managing reference data, pricing strategies, and bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. Responsibilities Reference Data Management: Centralize reference data by onboarding over 700 applications to our strategic architecture. Ensure accuracy and consistency of global securities products data, including bonds, cash, and derivatives. Primary Responsibilities: Pricing Analysis Conduct market research to analyze pricing trends. Develop pricing models using tools like Excel, Teradata SQL, Tableau, Alteryx. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives . Ability to execute vision and strategy within APRD (Application Portfolio Rationalization Database). Enthusiasm for centralizing reference data across multiple applications. Excellent communication skills to bridge gaps between IT teams and business stakeholders. Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications/Skills BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering from a four-year college or university. Some years of experience with reference data and pricing. Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (Excel) and other BI tools (Teradata SQL, Tableau). Preferred Q ualifications / Skills Technical Skills Strong understanding of global securities products such as bonds, cash instruments, derivatives.
