Job Title: Asst. Subject: We are looking for Civil Engineering PG / Graduate 8-10 yrs experience in minimum hidden_mobile MW capacity hydro power plant from to join our renewable team. He must have proven track record & hands on knowledge conducting hydrological, geological, geotechnical, seismic, pre & feasibility study to evaluate power potential in a cost effective & reliable manner to ensure site & area suitability for HPP. He must be capable to carry out basic design Engineering, preparing BOQ and estimate of civil structure i.e. dam, intake structure, penstock, headrace tunnel, tail race, plant buildings etc for hydro power projects. He must be from EPC background to well versed with different project phases of hydro power plant. This role presents an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact on renewable energy development while working on cutting-edge projects to developing 7 GW Hydro power across various locations in the DRC, Africa continent. Responsibilities: Risk Authorization: Identify and mitigate risks related to all probable to hydro power site during the site evaluation process of project. Financial & Budgetary Control: Proper planning, estimation, monitor, and control cost associated with all work, activities during project phase. Supervisory Control: Responsible & accountable for personnel management in every task, activity of related work & project. Compliance Safety Governance (CSG): In-depth understanding and knowledge of QHSE requirements during Project phases. Familiar with Job Safety Analysis (JSA). People: People management & Team Collaboration. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including hydrologists, environmental experts, and project managers, to ensure alignment of project goals. Participate in brainstorming sessions and technical discussions to optimize project strategies. Functional Skills: Site Surveys and Data Collection: Conduct thorough on-site assessments to gather crucial geological, geotechnical, topographical, hydrological, soil stability & seismic data in aspect of hydro power. Utilize advanced surveying tools and technologies i.e., site survey, soil testing, cored bore holes technique to accurately measure and map the project area. Collaborate with environmental experts to assess potential impacts on local ecosystems. Feasibility Studies: Analyse collected data to determine the feasibility of hydro power plant projects. Evaluate technical, environmental, and economic factors to assess project viability. Identify potential challenges and propose innovative solutions to overcome them. Design Support: Basic design engineering to develop preliminary stage site & potential selection for projects. Capable to carry out various design engineering of reservoir, dam, water intake, head race tunnel, main plant, and tail race structures, and power plant design. Report Preparation: Compile comprehensive feasibility reports, Detail project report, that outline technical findings, cost estimates, and potential risks for Wind Projects. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards governing hydro power plant development. Collaborate with legal and regulatory experts to navigate permitting processes. Behavioral: Personnel management skills, Communication skills, Negotiation skills, Analytical skills, Leadership skills, Conflict resolution skills. Desirable competencies: MS-Project, MS-Xl, Primavera, SAP for required area & functions activities will be desirable. Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in civil engineering or related field. Proven experience in conducting site surveys, feasibility studies, technical analysis, basic design engineering & EPC for hydroelectric power projects. Proficiency in surveying tools and software (e.g., GPS, GIS, AutoCAD). Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including foundation design and structural analysis. Familiarity with local regulations and environmental considerations in Africa is a plus. Flexibility for travel & work within the Africa continent to conduct site visits.
