Job Description

Designation DGM Finance & Banking

Experience 10to 15yrs

Reading the financial, banking operations of the organization. * Responsible for working capital management, cash flow management, debtor management, banking operations and import Operations. * Effective Management of fund based & non-fund based limits, Responsible for banking operations - bank reconciliation, facility management which includes cash credit, letter of credit, buyers Credit, LC repayment plan and bill discounting/factoring. * Accounts reconciliation & looking after monthly closure activity, Developing reports for top management by summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows, and coordinate the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and financial forecast. * Submission of CMA to banks for availing banking Limits and liaisoning with banks and financial institutions, corporate finance and fund raising. * Preparation and submission of monthly stock statements to arrive at drawing power. * Responsible for analysing financial statements and management reports, which include trial balance, profit and loss statement, balance sheet, sales & purchase report, cash flow statement, working capital management, stock reports and debtors & creditors report, capital budgeting, ratio analysis, and assisting internal auditor & statutory auditor with in finalizing financial statement & incompliance reporting. * Maintaining and arranging adequate cash & bank balances by keeping track of fund movements, supervise daily banking operation of the group and monitor fund movements, monitoring inward and outward foreign exchange transactions and assisting in payment of the same. * Keeping appropriate checks on the bank charges and interest on Loans/CC, WCDL a/c levied by banks, handling excess interest matter. * Ensuring GST payment are done before due date of filing returns by arranging and maintaing required funds. * Ensuring GST returns are file before due date * Verifying documents for factoring and charges being charge by the banks and financial institutions. * Generating monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports related to financial performance and financial status. * Implement a robust financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements. * Establish and execute credit controlling procedures and credit limits of customers aligned to the objectives set annually and expedite collection of overdue invoices. * Determining financial objectives and accordingly designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures also to facilitate internal financial control. * Monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure risks are minimized in relation to debtor's collection. * Review and make decisions on credit limits of new and existing customers. * Bank visit for relationship management and management of limits.

Preparing budgets along with management and doing a variance analyses. ? Developing reports for top management by summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows, and coordinate the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and financial forecast. ? Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the board of directors. ? Effective Management of fund based & non-fund based limits. ? Supervise daily banking operation of the group and Monitor fund movements. ? Keeping appropriate checks on the bank charges and interest on Loans/CC, WCDL a/c levied by banks, handling excess interest matter. ? Monitoring inward and outward foreign exchange transactions. ? Supervise opening of new bank accounts/ modification in existing accounts. ? Generating monthly, quarterly and annual MIS reports related to financial performance and financial status. ? Analysis of financial ratios and suggesting top management for any action. ? Periodically analyzing & investigating key movements in P/L & Balance sheet. ? Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. ? Assisting the internal auditor & statutory auditor with in finalizing financial statement & incompliance reporting. ? Maintaining adequate cash & bank balances to prepare of bank reconciliation statement. ? Verifying documents for factoring and charges being charge by the banks and financial institutions. ? Verification & audit of master receivable file for debtors collection with tally on monthly basis. ? Tracking timely installation, collection of I&C report and documents submission of banking and non-banking financial customers. ? Ensuring the proper document submission is done by more than 24 branches for smooth & timely payment from customers. ? Preparation of debtors aging report & responsible for improving the company?s cash flow by ensuring smooth receivables and expense control. ? Supervising payment collection follow up with branches and customers (majorly the OEM's, Banks, Dealers, IT?s and End users). ? Client visit for critical issues & relationship management. ?
