About Team
You will be part of order to cash vertical comprising various AR operations like Billing- Software Licence and maintenance, Data processing, billing support functions, customer MDM, Contract Valuation and Terminations, AR collection and Customer Service representative
What you will be doing
This position is for Assistant Manager having exposure to billing activities, audit (both internal and external audit) excellent leadership skills, trouble shooting issues, work with team very closely to address any concerns, minimize attrition, process improvements, six sigma experience added advantage. You will be responsible for managing a team- handling team member s queries, client escalations, con-calls etc and coordinate with manager
What you bring:
- Knowledge of Accounts Receivable end to end cycle
- Advance knowledge of Billing various types of billing Maintenance, Fixed Price, Milestone etc
- Advance knowledge of contract termination process
- Knowledge of contracts and concepts like Credit Notes, Re-bill etc
- Worked as Team Lead for Billing/AR Process handling team member s queries, client escalations, con-calls etc and coordinate with manager
- Should have people management experience with team size of 10-30 team members
- Should have worked with global clients especially US, UK etc
- Should have worked on reporting Operational/Performance Metrics
- Basic knowledge of Cash Application
- Experience in SAP/Oracle
Skills
- Strong Accounting Knowledge Billing operations, Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting
- Good Communication Skills Written and Verbal
- Strong desktop computing skills PowerPoint, Visio and Excel
- Ability to understand and resolve queries from business units and collections
- Ability to co-relate figures, do analysis, and make relevant comments
- Knowledge of reserve provisions and revenue accounting
- Ability to multitask and flourish in time-pressured role
- Ability to handle vast amount of data efficiently
- Be open to work for extended hours as per specific requirements such as month-close
Qualifications
- Post Graduate/ Inter CA/Inter ICWA or related discipline
- 8-10 years experience in billing operations including Team lead and above experience of 3-5 years

- Detail oriented and regard for timeliness
- High regard for deadlines and deliverables
- Owning the work assigned to ensure it completeness without compromising timeliness or accuracy.
- Ability to analyze reports and function as an SME/SPOC

- Ability to understand and resolve queries from business units and team members
- Ability to co-relate figures, do analysis, and make relevant comments
