Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a VMware and Backup Specialist (Cohesity and AWS) at SPARC CYBERTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. The role involves managing VMware infrastructure, implementing Cohesity backup solutions, and working with AWS cloud services. Qualifications Proficiency in VMware technologies and virtualization Experience with Cohesity backup solutions and AWS cloud services Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Job Description: VMware and Backup Specialist (Cohesity and AWS) Location: Remote (EST working hours) Job Type: Full-time Working Hours: EST working hours with a monthly on-call support rotation (one week per month) Overview: We are looking for a VMware and Backup Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing VMware environments and backup solutions with Cohesity and AWS. The specialist will work closely with our customer team based in the US. Key Responsibilities: VMware Management: Install, configure, and manage VMware environments. Perform updates and troubleshoot issues. Backup Management: Implement and manage backup solutions using Cohesity and AWS. Conduct regular backup and restore operations. Disaster Recovery: Design and test disaster recovery plans. Ensure compliance with policies and regulations. On-Call Support: Participate in a monthly on-call support rotation. Respond to high-priority incidents and provide after-hours support. Customer Collaboration: Work closely with the US-based customer team. Communicate effectively and provide support as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of VMware and backup environments. Generate performance and incident reports. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience managing VMware environments. 2+ years of experience with Cohesity and AWS backup solutions. Strong understanding of virtualization and backup technologies. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification. AWS certification. Experience with scripting and automation. Working Conditions: Remote work with adherence to EST working hours. Monthly on-call support rotation (one week per month). Occasional after-hours work for maintenance and upgrades. Regular collaboration with the US-based customer team.,
