Job Details Head of Operations, and Health & Safety job Function Head of Operations, and Health & Safety Job Description The key KPIs of COO- Exploration will be as follows: - HSE: Drive vision of zero harm, zero waste and zero discharge - Ensuring safety and environmental performance are given the highest priority during all phases of Drilling and Well Completion/ Testing - Providing leadership and strategic direction to drilling operations across the Exploration Organisation ensuring all drilling programs are executed delivering best in class drilling and cost performance. Provides strategic and operational oversight to drive optimised operations and synergies across drilling operations, operations geology, petroleum engineering, HSE et al. - Supports all the block managers and ensures all the well construction operations are managed as per the SOW. - Responsible to deliver as per the timeline of execution and vendor management. Implants may be in individual block teams to support as the case may be. - Providing technical inputs to tenders and contracts in order to get fit- for- purpose equipment and services; ensure services are in place and long lead equipment is available when required. - Providing technical and critical inputs to all technical documents, manuals, policies, standards and all work programs in planning phases of various drilling campaigns - Manages the resources across the blocks to maximize the returns. - Ensuring that the Drilling team keeps abreast of new technology and use it when appropriate Specifications of the Ideal Candidate: 1. At least 15 Yrs. of Strong Drilling operations and management experience through exploration, development phases of various assets; experience of drilling in tough geologies 2. Part of big operator organization or independents, having worked in both oil & gas fields 3. Strong operational background with understanding of exploration and operational issues. 4. Educational Qualification: Drilling Engineer from a reputed institution 5. Exposure to having worked with senior management teams 6. Proven project management skills 7. Proven commercial awareness towards cost efficient operations EducationJob Classification
