As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer, you will design, develop, create, and modify test cases and validate embedded software for DSP HW, AI SW frameworks and AR/XR frameworks use cases and/or specialized utility programs that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Software Test Engineers collaborate across various engineering teams and functions to design and implement test plans. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools). Background in test/validation with experience in software development Hands-on experience running neural network models with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, Tensorflow, Keras, Caffe/Caffe2, PyTorch, SNPE, etc., Experience with embedded systems development or equivalent. Understanding of software development and debugging in embedded environments Strong analytical and communication skills Prior experience on windows driver testing will be plus Understanding of Multimedia Audio/Video/CV and Camera technologies will be a plus Responsibilities: Working closely with software, hardware and systems engineers, your tasks and responsibilities will include the following: Investigate and implement new tools and processes to improve software quality Gather requirements, design, implement and test industry-leading technology features Debug test cases that fail in regression and/or demo Develop test strategies for verification and commercial launch of Qualcomm ML/AI solutions Design, develop and deploy test plans, test frameworks and test automation software Collaborate with other multimedia technology teams to leverage common test methods and frameworks Education requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering Applicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
