- Job Title: Autosys Migration Specialist (L3 Profile) Location: Remote (with potential onsite opportunities) Experience Range: 3-5 years / 5-8 years Salary Range: 10-18 LPA Company: Investment Banking Firm Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Autosys Migration Specialist to join our team for an exciting project involving the migration of existing scheduled processes to an internal proprietary tool. This L3 role requires a strong background in CI/CD, scripting, and job scheduling, along with excellent communication skills to interact with development teams and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Autosys Migration: Lead the migration of scheduled processes from Autosys to an internal proprietary tool. CI/CD Expertise: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of code, with a preference for GitLab experience. Pipeline Integrations: Integrate necessary tools (build tools, vulnerability scan tools) to ensure pipeline functionality. CI/CD Troubleshooting: Debug and address build/deployment errors encountered during CI/CD processes. Git Proficiency: Push code, cut new branches, work with pull requests, and support code until production. Scripting Skills: Strong experience in scripting (bash is a must, Python is a plus) and job scheduling (Autosys, Ctrl+M, cron). Linux Environments: Must have experience working with Linux-based environments. Debugging: Understand and debug scripts, develop logical solutions to problems. SQL Knowledge: Moderate experience with SQL, including basic joins. Functional Testing: Test scripts in sandbox environments and promote code according to clearance. Automation: Automate processes wherever possible to enhance efficiency. Scheduling Scenarios: Handle a large number of scheduling scenarios effectively. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with development teams and stakeholders. Environment Management: Comfortable working across different environments (Sandbox/Dev, QA, UAT, PROD) to manage the entire lifecycle of the code.
