Job Description
- Job Title: Network Engineer-Senior Associate Experience Level : 5-10 Years Location : Gurugram Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based network solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets organizational requirements. Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security. Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Stay updated on industry best practices for network security and implement necessary measures. Monitor network performance and proactively address any bottlenecks or performance issues. Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Create and update network diagrams, ensuring they reflect the current state of the network. Technologies Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches. Experience with Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls and VPN configurations. Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches. Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). VLAN management and implementation. Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. Implementation and management of firewall policies. Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems. Configuration and management of Cisco wireless controllers and access points. Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues. Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Cisco Prime. Ability to analyze network performance metrics and take corrective actions. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team (ref:hirist.tech),
