Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect 4+Years and 10+ years Automation relevant experience to lead our test automation strategy for mobile, web, and API testing. The ideal candidate will be proficient in open-source tools, including Selenium, Rest Assured, and Appium, using Java and will design, implement, and optimize our test automation framework to ensure high standards of quality and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Architect and Develop: Design and implement a robust automation framework for mobile, web, and API testing, using open-source tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, and Appium. Strategy and Roadmap: Define the automation strategy, including tool selection, frameworks, and best practices for scalable automation. Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance to QA team members, fostering skill development in automation practices and tools. Collaborate with Development and QA: Work closely with development, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automation in CI/CD pipelines and ensure a seamless release process. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve automation processes and drive efficiency, quality, and coverage across the testing life cycle. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation on automation framework, tools, processes, and test scripts. Generate reports to provide visibility on automation coverage, quality trends, and defect metrics. Required Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation, Appium for mobile automation, and Rest Assured for API testing. Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in automation such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. CI/CD and DevOps Integration: Experience in integrating automation frameworks with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar. Framework Development: Demonstrated experience designing and developing modular, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks. API Testing: Knowledge of RESTful API architecture and testing methodologies. Team Collaboration: Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and product management. Preferred Qualifications: Leadership Experience: Prior experience mentoring or leading automation engineers. Cloud and Containerization: Familiarity with cloud-based testing (e.g., AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack) and containerization tools like Docker. Performance Testing: Knowledge of performance testing tools and frameworks, such as JMeter, is a plus. Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to drive automation initiatives in iterative release cycles.,
