Job Description
- The work you'll be doing will support the mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world-class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.
- Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with front-end and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
- Executing full software development life cycle (SDLC) concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support.
- Ensuring the application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
- Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
- Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front-end and back-end technologies.
- Understanding the Business requirements, designing a business solution and working with different functional teams to deliver the solution.
- Using professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways.
- Involving oneself in one large and/or complex project at a time; developing schedules to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Receiving general guidance for the accomplishment of short to medium-term goals and operating objectives.
- Supporting development and maintenance of projects delivered under major programs (e.g. 5G, RAN).
- Learning and delivering multiple technologies (e.g., Full Stack developer) and working closely with the DevOps teams to deliver against timelines.

You ll need to have:
- Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Full Stack Developer - (React, Node Microservices, SQL/Mongo DB, Scripting (Python/Shell))
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Experience in large-scale software architecture.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodology.
- Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (Safe).
- Experience in debugging software implementation issues, algorithms, and an understanding of how different implementation choices will affect the performance of applications.
