- Job Description We are seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Odoo ERP development, customization, and implementation. As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Odoo modules, ensuring the ERP system aligns with the business requirements and providing solutions to optimize workflow and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Odoo Development & Customization : Develop custom Odoo modules and applications based on business needs. Customize existing modules to fit the specific requirements of clients. Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external systems. System Configuration & Implementation Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Odoo systems. Configure Odoo ERP solutions for different business functions such as sales, inventory, finance, CRM, etc. Troubleshooting & Bug Fixing Analyze and resolve technical issues in Odoo applications and configurations. Perform debugging and troubleshooting for performance or functional problems in Odoo instances. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Gather business requirements, providing expert advice on Odoo best practices and solutions. Testing & Quality Assurance Write and execute unit tests, and ensure that custom modules meet functional and performance requirements. Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices in software development. Documentation & Training Create and maintain technical documentation for custom modules and system configurations. Train end-users and assist with user adoption strategies for Odoo. Technical Skills Proficiency in Python programming language. Strong knowledge of Odoo's core framework (Odoo 13, 14, 15, or later versions). Experience with PostgreSQL database management. Familiarity with Odoo's architecture and APIs for custom integration. Knowledge of XML, JavaScript, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) for interface customization. Experience with version control tools such as Git (ref:hirist.tech),
