Job Description
- Designation: SDET I (Automation) Office Location: Gurgaon Position Description: We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in Playwright and a proven track record of delivering Functional and UI automation scripts. The ideal candidate will be an independent contributor capable of developing high-quality automated solutions and integrating them into a CI/CD pipeline seamlessly. Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for web applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and UI scenarios. Create, maintain, and execute test scenarios and acceptance tests for web and API automation. Drive 100% automation of sanity test cases with robust scripting and framework solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation efforts are well-aligned with project goals. Required Skills: Automation Tools & Frameworks: Proficiency in Playwright, with expertise in frameworks such as TestNG, and hands-on experience with POM (Page Object Model) and hybrid framework implementations. Programming Languages: Strong working knowledge of Java or Python. Version Control & CI/CD: Experience with tools like Git and Jenkins, and familiarity with parallel test execution. API & Integration Testing: Proficient in API testing, including integration testing, and tools like Datadog for monitoring. Performance Testing: Familiarity with open-source performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, K6, or Grinder. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills with excellent debugging and troubleshooting capabilities. Innovation & Ownership: Ability to work independently, with a mindset geared toward innovation and out-of-the-box solutions.
