Job Description
- Key Objective The primary responsibility is to ensure the proper functioning of the companys ERP system. This includes overseeing its operation, maintaining optimal performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing enhancements. The role involves working closely with business users to analyse functional specifications and produce technical solutions that align with agreed standards. The focus will be on system maintenance, performance optimization, and supporting integrations with other systems. Main Duties & Responsibilities Ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the INFOR ERP and WMS system. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective resolutions. Manage the installation and implementation of service packs and hotfixes as needed. Act as a technical liaison to business groups for application support. Test system functionality against business requirements and ensure alignment. Support and drive process change and communication in line with ERP best practices. Coordinate and contribute to end-user training, including the development of system documentation and training materials. Assist with functional specifications for customizations and integrations required for INFOR ERP implementations. Provide end-user support as and when required. Serve as the lead technical expert on the development team for INFOR ERP. Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionality. Work with Business Managers and Consultants to understand the business/application requirements of assigned tasks. Create, modify, and manage SSRS reports. Ensure the timely delivery of maintenance tasks within agreed budgets and timelines. Create technical documentation for all customizations and integrations. Desired Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years of ERP and WMS management experience, with hands-on work in full lifecycle implementations. 5 or more years of experience as a software developer, specifically working with ERP systems, preferably INFOR. Experience with INFOR ERP is highly desirable. Experience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with INFOR ERP. Proficiency in SQL Database (Queries/DB backups scripts), SSRS reports. Ability to document code customizations and integrations in compliance with established standards and practices. Ability to translate customer business requirements and specifications into code solutions, along with the ability to develop and manage hours estimates. Ability to debug errors efficiently and effectively. Capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously. Strong understanding of key user business processes and requirements. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands. Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation, including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts. Exceptional customer service skills, follows up with clients and team members, and takes initiative to anticipate and solve problems. Effective time management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision. Experience with API technologies to integrate ERP solutions with third-party applications Qualifications And Education Requirements Proficiency in SQL, Python, C++, Java, .NET, HTML, C#, Crystal Reports. Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, and Windows/Linux systems. Knowledge of API technologies for integrating ERP solutions.,
