The Role Responsibilities

Job Role

This world class leading Bank is seeking for Manager, Committee Reporting and Insight for Group Internal Audit s Planning, Delivery, MI & Reporting Team. The Planning, Delivery, MI and Reporting function is responsible for joining the dots on risk, control and governance findings and reporting these to the Group and Board Risk and Audit Committees. The qualified individual will lead the execution of analytics to help derive insightful Committee Reporting covering all aspects of Group Internal Audit assurance work.

The generation of data led insights will help the Group Audit Committee and Group Risk Committee adequately oversee improvements to the Groups risk management effectiveness.

Champion innovation and train the function on improving data quality and insight.

Contribute to improving the process efficiencies using automation and data analysis.

Processes

Contribute to the design, development, testing and documentation of analytical procedures (includes data sourcing, data preparation, data transformation, and modelling) to assist in population and scoping analysis, sampling, testing, and issue impact justification. Automate manual processes using technology and create efficiencies.

Work closely with key stakeholders to understand data flow, data points, and advise on how they can be leveraged in the design of data analytical solution.

Contribute to the design and implementation of effective continuous monitoring and auditing strategies.

Regulatory and Business Conduct

Key Stakeholders

Internal Group Internal Audit professionals and external SC Bank professionals who receive GIA information.

Other Responsibilities

Embed Here for good and Group s brand and values in Group Internal Audit. Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats);

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics) is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a data analysis role preferably with internal audit, a risk function, a control function and / or previous experience in analysing business processes in a financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of data analysis software; good understanding of data systems and data query and coding language methods, such as SQL, SAS, Python and / or R.
  • Outstanding project management and analytical skills with an ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with a track record in creative and successful problem-solving.
  • Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication and an unrelenting drive to deliver value, with a track record in creative and successful problem-solving.
  • Good understanding of analytics and techniques, and proven ability to understand problem statements and identify opportunities for use of analytics.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with a proven track record of report writing for Senior Executives.
  • Experience with metrics and reporting using visualisation tools such as Tableau, PowerBI or similar tools.
  • Ability to work within a Global Multi-disciplinary team and be a strong team player.
  • Previous experience in audit, risk or fraud areas would be a significant advantage.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of basic statistics (Correlation, Regression).
