Job Description

Implement Custom ETL Processing:
- Design, implement, and optimize customized ETL processes for new clients, ensuring seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Develop and maintain tailored ETL solutions based on client-specific data requirements and business needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the ETL pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and minimal downtime.

Production Support & Troubleshooting:
- Assist in identifying and resolving production operations issues as they arise, ensuring minimal impact on client operations.
- Provide timely support to address issues related to data interfaces, pipeline failures, and system performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and suggest improvements.

Develop and Support Data Interfaces:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy new and pre-existing programs related to data interfaces, ensuring accurate data transfer and integration.
- Maintain and update existing data interfaces, ensuring compatibility with evolving technologies and business requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and product teams to address production performance concerns, mitigating client risks and ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Act as a liaison between multiple groups to prioritize and resolve production issues efficiently.

Standard Operating Procedures & Documentation:
- Build and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting documents to enhance team efficiency and minimize response time for issue resolution.
- Ensure that documentation is updated regularly and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Metrics Reporting & Performance Optimization:
- Develop and report key performance metrics related to data operations, identifying areas for improvement and operational efficiency gains.
- Analyze metrics to surface meaningful insights, track performance trends, and suggest actionable improvements to processes.

Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
- Work closely with engineering teams to build tools and features necessary for improving the efficiency and scalability of production operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data pipelines, ensuring they are optimized for high performance and low latency.

Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with ETL tools and technologies (Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, etc.).
- Proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Python, Java, or Scala for data integration and processing.
- Familiarity with data warehouses, cloud storage, and databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an advantage.

- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of data pipeline failures and resolve issues effectively.

Communication & Collaboration:
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and reporting technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document processes and create clear, actionable troubleshooting guides.

- High attention to detail in ensuring data accuracy and maintaining high-quality production environments.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met and client expectations are exceeded.
