Hybrid Working
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We re flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. However, some colleagues may choose to spend more time in the office over a typical period than their role type requires. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date.

Introduction
Be a Team Member in the application/ program under test demonstrating holistic know-how of the functional, automation and operational structure e.g. SME in LOB (Cards/ KYC/ Credit Risk etc)
Bring innovation and industry best practises in creating optimised test scope, planning, execution, tracking and reporting
Support in preparation of test and automation strategy.
What will you be doing
o Participate in requirement analysis and conduct risk assessment workshops
o Identify and highlight discrepancies in specifications
o Design and develop test Automation for testing REST APIs using Rest Assured and Selenium.
o Create dependency matrices/ data matrices as deliverables from analysis/ scrum sessions
o Model user scenarios as part of SIT to attain more coverage early on.
o Test Planning and assisting developers in designing unit tests
o Create & execute complex test ware - estimates, scenarios, cases, data
o Deliver all planned automated testing as part of done , including unit tests for any framework code developed.
o Ensure automation frameworks meet current requirements and coding standards and maintain new & existing automated tests
o Create & maintain mocks / stubs / harness/fakes/virtual services for all testing
o Run exploratory testing
o Defect reporting and tracking
o Support and maintenance for test code and frameworks/test harnesses
o Sharing of re-usable components to test engineering colleagues and other test teams
o Deliver test automation improvement initiatives within the project group.
o Conform to established best practices and any appropriate test automation standards
o Provide guidance to other team members on technology/domain/application queries
What we re looking for:
o 2 to 4 years relevant work experience, including development and/or test automation
o Decent technical background with detail driven and excellent problem-solving abilities
o Relevant Exposure in any one of the test automation tools like Selenium, Rest Assured using any of the test framework cucumber or testing or any other stable framework
o Relevant Exposure in any one of the unit test tools like junit.
o Proven track record for agile, test-driven development, behaviour driven development, continuous integration, and automated testing
Skills that will help you in the role:
o Conform to established good practice and any appropriate test automation standards
o Preferably holding test certifications on ISTQB / CSTE / CSQA
