Job Description
- Job Description The roles and responsibilities of Data Engineering and Analytics Lead include: Work with functional owners of applications and understand data and reporting requirements Work on identifying data sources and carry out data modelling activities including schema definitions Work on data integrations tools to extract, transform and load (ETL) for creating data warehouse, data marts and data lakes with ability to handle medium to large data volumes Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to feed to data systems through FBDI, Real-time, Bulk and batch interfaces Ability to define data cleansing, and perform various transformations, merges, and value maps Good working knowledge of SCD types and ability to decide based on reporting requirement Good working knowledge of one analytics platform along visualization techniques like creating types of charts representing timeseries, comparisons, forecasts, or relativity Ability to pick new tools and techniques and ability to handle complex requirements Below Are The Expected Skills Expertise in one Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) platform tool like Talend, AWS Glue, Google Data Fusion Hands on experience with Split, Merge, lookup, filters, branching, decisions and most of ETL features Strong knowledge in SQL, PLSQL and experience handling both RDBMS and Semi-structured DBs like MongoDB Strong experience on one BI Analytics platform like Microsoft Power BI, Oracle OTBI or OBIA, Google Analytics Experience with end-to-end setup to create data warehouse, data lake along with reporting layer Exposure to Big Data technologies and tools like Hadoop, Cassandra is desired.,
