Job Description
The position primarily interacts with internal stake holders dealing with Fixed Accounting of GBS. The information exchanged in these interactions is typically financial in nature and at times can be deemed moderately complex.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all the Fixed Asset and Project Accounting transactions for the relevant period is posted in the books of accounts and the books are closed on time accurately as per companys Policy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing and Posting journal entries to ensure all Capex business transactions are recorded. Manual and requested entries.

FA Capitalization, Disposal, sale, Depreciation, and other Fixed Asset Transactions

Month end close tasks, Reporting activities & Non month end tasks.

Handling queries which involve communicating with multiple stakeholders and different teams.

Adhering to controls build in the process.

Interact with internal customers and assist them with accounting inquiries.

Assist with internal and external audit requests.

Managing Internal order and Project Management

Preparing FA subledger and Manual Accounts reconciliation
SCOPE:
A significant part of the process is to ensure all the Fixed Asset include accruals, prepaid, Fixed Asset Transaction, provisions, reserves, month end close are done are done accurately and on time. Preparation of reconciliation and submitting it in Blackline before deadline.
EDUCATION:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Commerce [B. Com (Hons)/ Relevant accounting Degree
PREFERRED:
Good Accounting knowledge with analytical skills.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
2-4 years of experience.
PREFERRED:
ERP SAP Experience
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
REQUIRED:
Good understanding of end-to-end Fixed Asset cycle with accounting impact
Proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel and Word.
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn and good grasping skills.
Ability to work with high volume in systematic way.
Ability to work in a high performing team.
Adaptive learner and ability to work under stringent timelines.
High degree of professional integrity.
Willingness to work in shifts.
Good understanding of Accounting, Financial ratios, and commercial laws
