- Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Talend Data Quality & Governance Developer to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high data quality standards and implementing data governance practices using Talend tools. This role involves working closely with data analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization. Key Responsibilities Data Quality Management : Design, develop, and implement data quality rules using Talend Data Quality (TDQ). Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure the integrity of data. Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs. Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with data owners. Data Governance : Define and implement data governance policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices. Work with stakeholders to establish data stewardship and ownership across the organization. Maintain a data governance framework, including metadata management and data lineage. Talend Development : Develop and maintain ETL processes using Talend Data Integration. Collaborate with data architects and engineers to integrate data governance practices into the ETL pipeline. Optimize Talend jobs for performance and scalability. Stay updated with the latest Talend tools and technologies. Collaboration & Support : Work closely with business units to understand their data requirements and ensure data quality and governance objectives are met. Provide training and support to end-users on data governance tools and processes. Assist in the continuous improvement of data management practices. Qualifications Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Technical Skills 3+ years of experience in Talend Data Quality (TDQ) and Talend Data Integration. Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices. Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques. Proficient in SQL and database management systems. Familiarity with data management tools and technologies. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other data governance tools like Collibra or Informatica. Certification in Talend or other data management technologies. Experience in a similar role within the financial services or healthcare industries.
