Job Descriptions: As an Automotive HVAC Design and Release Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative HVAC unit and duct solutions, validating HVAC components within vehicle models, leading the engineering APQP process, and ensuring the highest quality standards for our automotive HVAC systems. Your expertise in CAD software, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and fundamental thermodynamics principles will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our vehicle HVAC systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical solutions for HVAC units and duct systems, ensuring optimal heating, cooling, and ventilation performance in vehicles. Primary Skills: Experience in automotive HVAC design and release engineering. Validate HVAC components and systems within vehicle models through rigorous testing, simulations. Maintain Component Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) documentation to guide the testing and validation processes and mitigate potential design risks. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., NX, Catia) for designing and modifying HVAC components Good Understanding on Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles, contributing to quality-driven design processes Basic understanding of thermodynamics principles to optimize HVAC system performance.
