- Job Summary We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in network design and data design using various GIS and CAD tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in 3-GIS ArcFM ESRI UNM QGIS ArcGIS Pro ArcMap and AutoCAD Map3D. This hybrid role requires a detail-oriented professional who can contribute to our innovative projects and help drive our mission forward. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of network systems using 3-GIS ArcFM and ESRI UNM. Oversee data design projects utilizing QGIS ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Provide technical expertise in ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap for various design tasks. Utilize AutoCAD Map3D to create detailed and precise design models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network designs. Conduct thorough analysis and validation of design data to maintain high standards. Develop and maintain documentation for all design processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in all design activities. Participate in project planning and provide input on technical feasibility and resource requirements. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and technical skills. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design workflows and tools. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliverables. Support the development of innovative solutions to complex design challenges. Qualifications Hold a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Possess 6 to 8 years of experience in network design and data design. Demonstrate proficiency in 3-GIS ArcFM and ESRI UNM. Have strong skills in QGIS ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap. Be experienced in using AutoCAD Map3D for design work. Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Show strong communication and collaboration skills. Be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends. Display a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model. Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members. Show a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices. Certifications Required Certified GIS Professional (GISP) AutoCAD Professional Certification,
