Job Description
- Primary skills: Cisco ACI, Nexus 9K, Cisco Wireless, Viptela SDWAN, Zscaler- ZIA and ZPA, WAF, Cisco ISE Secondary skills: F5 Load Balancer, Efficient IP/Infoblox, Palo Alto with Panorama Firewall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our network infrastructure and skilled in Zscaler in deploying, managing, and optimizing Zscalers suite of security solutions to fortify our clients defences. The Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network operations and implement solutions that align with organizational goals. Responsibilities Cisco ACI Design and Implementation: Design, plan, and implement Cisco ACI solutions based on business requirements.Configure and deploy ACI fabrics, policies, and application profiles. Network Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, including ACI-related incidents. Trouble-shoot and resolve network problems in collaboration with the network operations team. Policy Management: Implement and manage policies and security controls within the Cisco ACI fabric. Ensure compliance with security standards and industry best practices. Network Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and enhance network efficiency. Work towards creating a self-service model for network provisioning and management. Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity planning for the Cisco ACI infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and analyse network traffic patterns and resource utilization. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for Cisco ACI configurations, changes, and procedure. Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for routine tasks. Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators, security professionals, and application developers. Participate in cross-functional projects to integrate ACI with other technologies. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements related to Cisco ACI. Implement, configure, and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions for enterprise clients. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security issues related to Zscaler services. Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and corporate policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Zscaler services with existing infrastructure. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Zscaler products and services to recommend upgrades and enhancements. Provide training and support to IT teams and end-users for best practices on Zscaler platforms. Develop documentation on configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and operational guidelines. Participate in emergency response teams to handle security incidents and provide post-mortem analysis,
