Job Description
- Functions as a team leader, leading project team by providing direction to team members, keeping team on track to complete projects and assigning tasks to team members and reviews the work of team members
- Will be responsible for developing automated test scripts.
- Active participation in developing automation framework and maintenance.
- Responsible for troubleshooting problems related to automated test and coming up with the best approach to resolve it.
- Active participation in developing Framework library functions.
- Responsible for executing automated and manual test cases.
- Responsible for tracking and logging defects during execution.
- Generating reports such as defect analysis report, project status report, etc.
- Actively participate in requirement analysis and test design.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Test design review and automated test code review
- Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem.
- Document lessons learned, help maintain knowledge database
- Monitor and participate in resource planning, hiring, and onboarding new members
- Train team members and increases testing capabilities of testing team
Experience in Hardware in Loop (HiL) with following skillset:
- Must have good knowledge of dSPACE SCALEXIO, Control Desk and Configuration Desk, Automation Desk, Provetech:TA, Vector Canoe, VT System, CANape
- Must have good knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink and development of models for Body, Chassis, ADAS, Powertrain
- Must have good knowledge of Communication protocols like CAN, LIN. Preferred to have knowledge in Automotive Ethernet
- Must have good knowledge of Diagnostic protocols like UDS ISO-14229
- Must have good knowledge of scripting languages like VB, Python etc.
- Must have good knowledge of Requirement Management Tools like DOORS
- Must have good knowledge of Test Process and Methodologies. ISTQB Foundation Level is preferred.
- Must have good debugging / troubleshooting and electronic laboratory skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
