    The Opportunity Location - Mumbai/Bengaluru/Pune Capgemini is seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive to Head the Network and Application operation Group. The person will lead a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, availability, and reliability of our organization's network and applications. This role requires a The candidate should have a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, in-depth technical expertise in network and application monitoring, and a commitment to delivering a seamless digital experience for our users mindset; the firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes (bookings, contribution margin, revenue, market recognition). The role demands a high level of autonomy; a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity; and a high level of drive to build a business from its current strong foundations to a potential billion-scale business. Additional Responsibilities Include Provide leadership to the Network and Application Monitoring Group Lead and mentor a team of monitoring engineers and analysts, ensuring their continuous professional growth and high-performance standards. Establish and enforce operational procedures, standards, and best practices within the monitoring group. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive network and application monitoring strategies to ensure the real-time detection and resolution of performance issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define monitoring requirements for new applications, services, and infrastructure. Utilize industry-leading monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users. Develop and implement incident response procedures to quickly identify, triage, and resolve network and application performance incidents. Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure timely incident resolution and minimal impact on business operations. Analyse monitoring data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for performance improvement. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to implement optimizations and enhancements to improve overall system performance. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network and application monitoring. Evaluate, recommend, and implement new monitoring tools and technologies to enhance the capabilities of the monitoring group. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of monitoring configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate regular reports on network and application performance, incidents, and resolution metrics for presentation to senior leadership. Work closely with stakeholders to understand and address their reporting needs. Manage the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Nexthink to ensure accurate and real-time visibility into end-user experience. Collaborate with IT support teams to leverage Nexthink data for rapid issue resolution and proactive service improvements. Stay informed about Nexthink updates, best practices, and emerging features to maximize its effectiveness. Our Ideal Candidate Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 15-17 years in a leadership role focused on network and application monitoring. In-depth knowledge of monitoring tools, network protocols and application infrastructure architecture. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate technical professionals. Experience in incident management and a deep understanding of ITIL or similar frameworks. Familiarity with industry-standard monitoring tools and technologies. Prefer experience with ScienceLogic and Dynatrace Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.,
