Job Description

Job Summary Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of Mainframe API solutions to meet business requirements. Oversee the development and maintenance of JCL scripts to ensure efficient batch processing. Provide expertise in DB2 database management and optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mainframe systems with other enterprise applications. Ensure the scalability and reliability of Mainframe solutions through thorough testing and validation. Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices for Mainframe development. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Mainframe systems. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Mainframe technology and incorporate them into solutions. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Mainframe development techniques. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Document technical designs and specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. Qualifications Possess strong experience in Mainframe API JCL and DB2. Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing Mainframe solutions. Have a solid understanding of database management and optimization techniques. Show proficiency in developing and maintaining JCL scripts. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Display excellent communication and collaboration skills. Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior developers. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Mainframe technology. Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model. Show a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Possess strong documentation skills for technical designs and specifications. Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.,
