Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer Footwear to join our dynamic team at Reliance Retail, located in Bangalore Urban. This full-time role requires expertise in designing and developing footwear with a focus on sports shoes. The ideal candidate should possess experience in fitting, line sheet development, and sample development and will play a key role in conceptualizing innovative designs and improving existing footwear lines. Qualifications And Skills Proven experience as a sports shoe designer with a deep understanding of footwear design processes and trends. Ability to develop showback samples that meet high-quality standards and reflect current fashion and industry trends. Strong acumen in fitting, ensuring that footwear provides comfort and meets ergonomic standards. Proficiency in footwear design, encompassing all stages from concept to final product realization. Experience in line sheet development to effectively communicate design concepts to team and stakeholders. Creative ability to conceptualize sports shoe designs that are both innovative and functional. Skill in utilizing various materials, including molds, to influence design choices and footwear aesthetics. A collaborative mindset to work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and production, to align design visions. Roles And Responsibilities Lead the design process for new sports footwear collections, from initial concept stages through to production-ready samples. Collaborate with product development teams to translate design ideas into physical products that meet market demands. Participate in research to stay informed about the latest trends, materials, and competitor products in the footwear industry. Conduct fittings and make adjustments to designs to optimize comfort, performance, and style of footwear products. Prepare and present line sheets and product concepts to management and stakeholders for feedback and approval. Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely and cost-effective production of designs. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration. Ensure all designs align with Reliance Retail's brand values and strategic goals while appealing to target markets.,
