Job Description

• The newly rebranded Cloud & Platform Technology (CPT) franchise sits within Group CIO as part of the Group CTO function
• We are responsible for forward looking technology across Deutsche Bank (DB) and offer 4 macro products: Application Platforms, Data & Analytics, Process & Automation and Developer Tooling
• We aspire to be the benchmark technology organization in DB
• Our goal is to build & offer simple self-service shared platforms for clients to consume and in turn run their own business applications on
• We ll use a combination of open source and vendor technologies coupled with Cloud native services where appropriate and use automation for efficiency and accuracy

Senior Engineer

• You ll be a well-seasoned software engineer with 8+ years of experience and join a team of other enthusiastic individuals striving to innovate, design and build solutions that meet comprehensive requirements
• You ll be very familiar with the SDLC and Agile practices and able to translate requirements into technical solutions whilst communicating effectively both in and outside your team
• You ll have development skills, familiar with IDE s and development tool sets
• You ll be a mentor in the team and help others build solutions and identify coding inaccuracies efficiently through code reviews
• You ll excel as an engineer and a role model for others to follow with exposure to team leading

Your key responsibilities

• Enhance existing dotCMS platform with plugins, extensions based on client s requirements
• Support client in individual project setups
• Support Operation Team in L2/L3
• Engage in various projects around CMS platform (e.g. move to Cloud, performance and stability improvement, etc.)

Your skills and experience :

• Experienced Java Developer
• Minimum 8+ ( for AVP) , 5+ ( for Associate), 3+ ( for Analyst) years of overall hands-on experience in programming and data structures
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills with team culture.

Specific Technology Skills

Must Have

• Experience of at least one of: dotCMS, Opentext, AdobeCMS or similar CMS
• Development experience with coding for web based applications: JAVA, Python, PHP or similar
• Development experience with Frontend Development (HTML, Javascript and CSS)
  

Desirable

• Exposure to at least one of the major Cloud technologies: GCP, Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Familiar with Agile Methodology (Scrum)
• Experience in working in enterprise company context with shared services & platforms.
