Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate, Japanese Language Translator In this role, we are looking for someone who is well versed with accounting knowledge and strong understanding of financial statements. Experience in working for an engagement in commercial credit, auto financing, portfolio management, underwriting of lease/loan documents, due diligence. The role would demand working on hard deadlines, maintaining the highest level of accuracies and someone who is looked upon as a talented team member who leads by example. Responsibilities Reading and understanding the context of given materials for translation. Providing accurate and culturally sensitive translation from Japanese to English. Translation of Accounting and financial statements i.e., Balance sheet, Income statements, Cash flow Using specialized dictionaries, translation tools, and reference materials that aid in translation Should have understanding of financial statements such as Balance sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows etc. Need to be a good team player and have willingness to take workload during volume spike Candidate should have strong written and oral communication skills Attention to detail and decision-making ability Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications Japanese language Proficiency Test -JLPT N2 passed. (JLPT N3 passed and knowledge of JLPT N2 can also be considered) Need to have hands on experience working on MS Office (excel and word) Should have good understanding of accounting and finance essentials, B.com/commerce stream background is preferable. Preferred Qualifications/ Skills Typing speed on computer above 30 word per minute is a required.
