Job Description
- Job Responsibilities : Checking/Approval of electrical design basis. Approval of various electrical deliverables/schedules prepared by design engineers/Sr. design engineers Approval of LV/HV Single Line Diagrams, interconnection diagrams/schedules. Approval of drawing wise MTO, bulk MTO, SOQ. Checking of electrical system study report, relay setting schedules. Checking & review of PDS Models. Performing & checking of sizing calculations for various electrical equipment#s. Approval of earthling calculations. Approval of heat load calculations. Preparation of MR, Datasheet & TBE for extra high voltage systems, HV system Checking of MR, Datasheet & TBE for other electrical equipment#s Checking of MR, Datasheet & TBE for cathodic protection systems. Checking of MR, Datasheet & TBE for heat tracing systems. Review of vendor drawings Checking of electrical underground layouts, Power & grounding layout, Cable tray layout, cathodic protection layout, Switchyard layout, equipment layout ,Area classification layouts Checking of heat layout. Preparation of P.A & F.A system layouts. Checking of Man-hrs. Estimations. Checking of list of deliverables. Checking of QMS procedures. Checking of departmental procedures. Preparation/checking of standard specifications as per requirement Preparation/checking of standard datasheet formats. Preparation/checking of standard checklist format. Developing work methods to enhance deliverable work efficiency and minimization of errors. Guiding and mentoring subordinates Handling inter disciplinary issues Education Requirement : Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.TECH) Experience Requirement : 12 years minimum including 1 yr. training. The years of experience should be in line with discipline work for various sized Projects. Skills & Competencies : Basic Engineering Knowledge specific to discipline Good communication & presentation skills Good team player Proficiency in operating Computers Knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel Knowledge of material specification and advances in industry Thorough knowledge of project specification and Indian and international standards Understands intra discipline technical issues. Knowledge of ETAP software Knowledge of planning and scheduling Guiding and mentoring skills Time management Prioritising,
