Job Description
- Job Title : M365 SharePoint Migration Engineer Job Description : Must Have : Sharepoint, One Drive, O365 (ShareKit good to Have) - Engineer and provide technical leadership to migrate on-premise SharePoint sites to SharePoint Online. - complete assessment and planning of ~10K on-premise sites in a large multi-geo organization and create realistic migration plans and schedules. - configure, test and automate migration tools to move content from on-premise to SharePoint sit and MS Teams. - provide knowledge transfer and guidance to the internal UBS migration factory to execute migrations and provide support to the migration engineers as needed. - create remediation strategies for migration of sites with complexities, and work with the internal migration factory on remediation planning and user communications. - lead software engineering efforts from requirements, analysis, design, development a implementation - document and engineer configurations, policies and controls to govern migrations and ensure success. - provide escalation support to manage incidents from analysis to resolution - solid experience as a M365 software engineer, and within financial services is a plus - deep knowledge and experience in M365 SharePoint, MS Teams and One Drive configuratio - experience with large-scale migrations from on-premise to M365 with a focus on migration to SharePoint Online, including multi-geo tenant configurations and risk mitigation for data protection issues - very good documentation skills for architectures, designs, test plans, test cases, and other artifacts. - great analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. (you know how to figure stuff - a strong desire to keep learning, adapting and growing. 1. Work location-Pune, Mumbai (Pune- Karadi, Mumbai- Airoli),
