Job Description

Ideal Candidate

  • Candidates with 2+ years of experience in industries such as electrical, electronics, civil, mechanical, biotech, production, medical, footwear, chemical, textile, pulp and paper, food technology, automobile, sports, cosmetics, construction and any other
  • Must have a desire to participate in change and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Should have managed a team of 10 15 members
  • No e-commerce experience required
  • Establish and foster strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders & proven experience leading cross-functional projects
  • We are looking for candidates with experience in functions such as manufacturing, procurement, R&D, production, vendor management, supply chain management, sales, merchandising, distribution, etc.

Role and Responsibilities

  • User Acquisition: Drive user traffic by driving content SEO, onboard sellers to achieve planned targets
  • Business Development: Ensure best brands, SMEs, vendors, suppliers from across the country are onboarded on marketplace
  • Competitive Quality Catalogs: Drive to acquire good quality catalogs with accurate product prices & specifications, high quality images and hottest seller products
  • Matchmaking: Ensure best quality categorization to achieve best matchmaking between buyer and seller
  • Customer Experience: Capture and resolve customer pain points. Create solutions and liaison with various cross functional teams to resolve customer pain points.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work across operations, part time associates, cross functional teams, product management department to ensure a smooth and fast functioning to achieve targets in given time period
  • Engagement: Working with the customer acquisition and engagement team to define a charter for engagement to improve monetization
  • Customer Delivery: Anticipate customer needs & incorporate them into the functional roadmap & drive changes, enhancements based on competitive trends in the B2B marketplace and macro-environment data

Key Skills Required

  • Should be an effective communicator with ability to persuade/ negotiate with different team/ stakeholders
  • Should be a strong team leader & capable of handling large teams
  • Strong numerical and analytical aptitude & experience of using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities
  • Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

Basic Qualifications :

  • Education criteria - >80% in classes 10 and 12
  • B.Tech (Any Stream) or/and Full time MBA/ PGDM from renowned institute
  • Understanding of and passion for E-Commerce
