Job Description
- JOB PROFILE OF DESIGN ENGINEER. Candidate should be a degree or diploma holder in engineering degree with experience in engineering design work. Should have minimum of 5 to 7 years work experience in any engineering company responsible for design work. He will be responsible for the complete design related work for all the projects of the company. This includes the complete design processes of study of drawings, giving recommendation of standard Highlline ceilings. and Louvers. Calculation of BOQ requirement, preparation of shop drawing, visit and supervision of installation work as and when required, and discussion on design aspects with the Architects etc. etc. Added to this he will also be responsible for getting our product specified in various projects by visiting architects and explaining the salient technical features of our products. The Major Responsibilities Will Be As Follows To design and submit our recommendation of ceilings and louver system to the architects/customers for approval. To co-ordinate with other team members in preparation of tender documents more specifically on the technical aspects. To identify and develop vendors for installation of our products namely louvers and facades. To calculate the BOQ requirement of the proposed system and work in co-ordination with the team in the proposal. To train our marketing team on various technical aspects of our products. To coordinate with our Head office design team on various special ceiling projects and for getting approval on the proposed system. To develop standard drawings and 3D views of our product ranges as marketing tool for the marketing staff. To assist contractors as and when required during installation process.
