Position description:
As a QA Engineer - Automation you would be responsible for creating or enhancing Automation Frameworks, developing test harnesses/tools, automating functional and/or non-functional test areas.Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a functional understanding of the product/system under test.
- Develop or enhance Automation Framework. Follow good engineering practices to build reliable automation.
- Identifies use cases/scenarios and converts them to prioritized and effective test cases.
- Automate the identified test scenarios to expedite execution of acceptance and functional tests.
- Execute automated tests within the stipulated time to meet the overall quality and project objectives.
- Apply analytical skills to identify and debug issues encountered as part of automation solution.
- Communicates test results to identify risks, dependencies and escalate the same in timely manner.

1 0-4 Years of relevant hands-on experience in Automation with retail/enterprise products. 2 Excellent programming skills: ability to design, implement, triage/debug and analyze algorithms, and write maintainable and modular code. 3 Experience in developing, maintaining and enhancing high quality, and reliable test automation, good engineering practices while designing and developing automation code, experience in Continuous Integration. 4 Experience in designing or contributing towards Automation frameworks [generic test automation frameworks -data-driven, key-word driven or hybrid framework]. 5 Well versed with Operating Systems and its interdependencies when working on Automation. 6 Good analytical and program solving skills, excellent written and oral communication, self-starter and motivated.Required abilities
