Company Description GAON is a unique village-themed restaurant located in Delhi, India, that offers a nostalgic experience of Indian village life through its decor and ambiance. The restaurant features a diverse menu with delicacies from various regions of India, including Bihari, Rajasthani, Gujarati, and Punjabi dishes. GAON is also expanding into the FMCG sector with a range of affordable spices, rice, and authentic North Indian delicacies under the brand name GAON Foods. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef at GAON. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and executing menu items that capture the essence of Indian village cuisine, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring a smooth culinary experience for guests. Qualifications Culinary expertise in Indian cuisine, particularly in regional dishes like Bihari, Rajasthani, Gujarati, and Punjabi Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations Creativity and passion for creating unique culinary experiences Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment Certification or degree in Culinary Arts or related field,
