Job Description
- Design and develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and other database objects to support data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Create dynamic, interactive PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize data and provide insights
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members on SQL and PowerBI best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data solutions
- Optimize database performance and implement security measures to ensure data integrity
- Automate data integration, extraction, and reporting processes where possible
- Participate in data architecture planning and decision-making
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data analytics
- Extensive experience (7+ years) in SQL development, including advanced SQL concepts like joins, subqueries, window functions, etc.
- Proficient in designing and developing interactive, visually appealing PowerBI dashboards and reports
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Experience leading a team of data analysts/developers and providing technical guidance
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
