Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, management, and mentorship to a focused Infrastructure team.
- Responsible for defining & executing IT infrastructure strategy for the organization
- Responsible for managing the following environment- Windows, VMware (300+ servers), Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), Citrix (2000+HSD), O365, MS SQL, Oracle, 6000 + nodes, Datacenter, and DR center.
- Responsible for managing Network & Communication infrastructure across multiple locations in Syngene
- Responsible for managing overall infrastructure, network, and application uptime as per defined KPIs.
- Responsible for managing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) & DR strategy for business applications across the organization
- Responsible for managing IT-OT integration projects, SCADA, PLC, and other Operational Technology. Exposure to IoT technologies/Edge serves and the sensor is desirable.
- Responsible for Managing overall Information Security - Firewalls, ATP for network, Desktop, emails EDR (Crowd strike), outsourced SOC (Security Operation Center)
- Responsible for validation and qualification of IT infrastructure and network as per Computer System Validation (CSV) SOP
- Ensure compliance on IT SOPs, Datacenter, and network room qualifications.
- Responsible for managing Internal and External infrastructure & Security Audits (Regulatory / Client)
- Responsible for managing vendor for procurement, AMC, Subscription, and services of Infrastructure & Security solutions. Ensure digital assets management and delivery of services as per agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Responsible for managing service desk operations and helpdesk team to ensure flawless support /services to the internal customers as per defined Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Possess the knowledge and exposure to environment, health, and safety (EHS) practices
- Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
- Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the team
Experience: 18-20 Years
Educational Qualification:
B. Tech /B.E./MCA / MTech in Computer Science/ Information Technology with a minimum of 18+ years experience in leading overall IT infrastructure and Security of an organization. Working experience in Pharma/Life science domain will be preferred
Technical/functional Skills:
- Expertise in managing Infrastructure & Security projects. Creating and managing the project budgets, project plan, project governance, resource allocation, risk, and Quality Management
- Expertise in managing environment including Windows/Servers, VMware, Citrix, O365 cloud, MS SQL & network connectivity across multiple locations.
- Experience in managing Business Continuity Plan (BCP) & DR strategy for business applications across the organization
- Experience in handling and managing cloud solutions from Amazon/Azure etc.
- Experience in handling IT-OT integration projects, SCADA, PLC, and other Operational Technology (Security layer)
- Familiarity with application and operating system hardening, vulnerability assessments, security audits, penetration testing, intrusion prevention systems, and other security control systems.
- Experience in managing Information security like Firewalls, ATP for network, Desktop, emails EDR (Crowd strike), outsourced SOC (Security Operation Center)
