Job Description
Responsible for the SW Project with respect to the aspects "on time", "on spec/quality" and "on budget" according to project level agreement
- Profound knowledge and expertise of SAFe / Scrum methodology
- Profound knowledge of Scrum artifacts (Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Incremental Development)
- Understanding of basic SAFe / Scrum roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team)
- Profound knowledge about SAFe / Scrum KPI's (Velocity, Burn-down charts)
- Experience in organizing SAFe / Scrum related meetings (Daily stand-up, Sprint planning, Backlog refinement, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective)
- Ideally knowledge and experience with Kanban
- Proven track record of managing (distributed) agile teams
- Experience in resource planning and management
- Excellent collaboration skills and experience with the collaboration of business stakeholders
- Excellent prioritization skills
- Ability to effectively handle conflict through proactive action, and direct and timely communication
- Ability to communicate, discuss and escalate topics to all hierarchy levels
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and influence management skills including evidence of managing multi-discipline teams
- Handling Integration Management (Project Guide, Change Management, Lessons Learned)
- Know-how of development of Safety SW and ASPICE process
Good-to-have experience
- Experience with Industry standard Project Management methodologies, frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or SDLC), and processes
- Experience in managing teams with a diverse cultural background
- Scrum Master Certification, SAFe Scrum Master certification
- Good to have experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
- Automotive / ADAS domain understanding
- Tech savvy, experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Office 365
Responsibilities
- Accelerate and develop well-functioning Agile teams by facilitating daily Scrums, backlog refinement, identification of risks and ensuring teams are communicating with each other and enabled to own their commitments
- Responsible for facilitating the scrum process on scrum teams with cross-functional impacts that involve moderately complex project, non-project, or maintenance work.
- Uses empirical data to help the team assess their Scrum Maturity, optimize scrum team velocity to organizational KPIs, and identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance.
- Proactively addresses systemic impediments to team agility and guides the team on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming blockers.
- Coaches scrum team to deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.
- Ensures conformance to design controls requirements per quality system.
- Define project resource requirements and negotiate team assignments with functional managers
- Plan, coordinate, track, communicate project activities / status
- Develop and monitor risk mitigations plans to ensure business and project objectives are met
- Challenge functional groups to meet project goals and commitments
- Provide routine project status communications to project team, management and stake holders
- Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions.
- Training, mentoring, and supporting scrum teams to follow agile values, principles, and practices.
- Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team. Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.
