Job Title: DriveWorks Engineer (Industrial Automation) Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 12+ Years Contact: hidden_mobile Email: hidden_email Qualification: B.E. / M.E. in Electrical / Instrumentation / Mechatronics /Controls Engineering Driveworks Engineer: We are seeking an experienced DriveWorks Engineer to join our well-established engineering company. The ideal candidate will be confident using Driveworks Solo, Driveworks Pro, and SolidWorks, with a strong background in engineering and a degree (B.E/B.Tech). You should also have prior project experience in design and implementation using driveworks pro. Key Responsibilities: Manage Driveworks Implementation Projects: Lead and oversee the implementation of Driveworks packages, ensuring projects meet client specifications and deadlines. Create Product Configurators: Develop product configurators using Driveworks to automate and streamline design processes, enabling easy customization for clients. Generate Models and Documentation: Produce 3D models, sales documents, images, and technical drawings using Driveworks and SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements. Support Web Development Team: Collaborate with the web development team to integrate Driveworks-generated models and configurations into online product configurators, ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborate with the Mechanical Design Team: Work closely with the mechanical design team to support product development, optimize designs, and resolve technical challenges related to Driveworks and SolidWorks models. Troubleshoot Driveworks Issues: Provide expert-level troubleshooting support for Driveworks implementations, addressing client concerns, identifying issues, and providing timely solutions. Design Project Templates: Work with limited information from clients to create accurate and functional project templates, ensuring designs are scalable and adaptable. Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to develop new products, resolve product application difficulties, and provide technical assistance. Supplier and Production Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes for parts, produce relevant documentation for consistent manufacturing, and arrange product testing in accordance with appropriate standards. Liaise with External Teams: Work with external engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure production methods align with design specifications and Driveworks requirements. SolidWorks File Remodeling: When necessary, modify existing SolidWorks files to align with Driveworks configurations or to accommodate client-specific requests. Meet Tight Deadlines: Deliver work within strict timeframes, ensuring timely completion of projects and client satisfaction. Qualifications: Proven experience with Driveworks Solo and Driveworks Pro, with examples of successfully implemented projects. Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks for design and modeling. Experience in design automation or a related engineering role, particularly with Drive Works and SolidWorks. Good communication and project management skills.,
