Job Description
- Financial Reporting The core responsibilities for the job include the following: Prepare and review financial statements, monthly closing reports, and management reports. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. Accounting Operations Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation. Budgeting And Forecasting Assist in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis. Monitor budgetary control and analyze spending trends to provide insights for financial planning. Tax And Compliance Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, including direct and indirect tax requirements (GST, VAT, etc. ). Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Financial Analysis Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, such as cost analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow management. Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement. Internal Controls Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Audit Support Assist in coordinating internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to audit queries. Team Collaboration Work closely with other departments to support financial operations and resolve any finance-related issues. Mentor and guide junior staff members in the finance team, if applicable. Others Prepare, analyze, and record any other report as and when required by the management.
