Sr CAD Engineer @ Tata Consultancy

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Very good understanding of CMOS concepts and electronic fundamentals.
• Minimum of 6 years' work experience in semiconductor industry, especially EDA segment & CAD
• Good understanding of PDKs (device libraries, techfiles, Analog Simulation, netlisting, spice models,)
• Good knowledge of SKILL, SKILL-Pcells, CDFs, callbacks
• Knowledge of simulations tools, ADE, ADE-XL, Maestro Ocean scripting or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of UNIX shell, Shell scripting & programming, Excellent grasp of Perl or Python.
• Good understanding of Cadence custom IC Virtuoso platform, Virtuoso-L and Virtuoso-XL, schematic capture and layout concepts.
• Experience with working with foundries.
• Good understanding Physical verification including DRC/LVS/Parasitic Extraction
• Experience in working with Device modelling and Physical Verification teams on devices and processes.
• Willingness to gain knowledge and familiarity with several CAD tools
• Comfortable in working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
