Job Description
- Level : Vice President-Engineering Role : Head of Engineering Experience: 15+ Years Location: Mumbai Mandatory-Banking Key Responsibilities include: Responsible for the Technology & Engineering team for developing Architecture, Design & Product across all technology domains. Principle Architect for Technical designs & Engineering for various technology being conceptualized for business. Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals. Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions. Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Key requirements Include: Experience in IT industry, especially in the area of ITeS, ICT and Application based solutions for banking domain. Produces detailed time line for each application release and implements effective project control by monitoring the progress of the software release and reporting the status. Directs and prioritizes the work load of subordinate personnel. Reviews all designs, code and unit test plans where applicable. Reviews all business requirements and functional specs prior to coding. Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting. Researching and recommending new products Leading efforts to improve engineering processes. Analyzing product metrics regularly and use the learning for product innovations and improvements. Innovating and delivering products that differentiate us from competition. This will include new products as well as enhancements to existing products. Conducting regular competition analysis and recommending plan of action - should master the details of competitive landscape. Working closely with Quality Assurance, Product and Marketing teams to create synergies leading to a high quality product.
