We have opening for the post of CA - Indirect Tax , in Mumbai.

Qualification:- Qualified CA only

Experience:- Post CA 4-7 yrs exp

Salary:- up to 12 LPA

Roles & Responsibilities:-

• Monthly Compliances - filing of GST returns

1. GST Computation under GSTR1 and GSTR3B and filing of the GST returns.

• GST Annual Return / GST Audit

1. Ensure State wise Annual Return and Reconciliation statement for GST audit.
2. Review the State-wise reconciliation file for GST audit.
3. Handling auditors and resolution of GST audit queries.

• GST Input Management / Reconciliation

1. Review of GST ITC, availment, utilisation, cash payments and utilisation for each State Wise.
2. Ensured the GST ITC reconciliation of input register with GSTR2A and resolving mismatches

• Handling GST Notices

1. Respond to the GST Notices by collating the details and making submissions.
2. Coordinate with tax consultants and attending hearing with GST authorities.
3. Handle past Service Tax and VAT notices / appeals
4. Co-ordination with local VAT consultants for closure of tax assessments.
5. Attend appellate authorities hearing and collating details required to defend appeals.

• GST Automation

1. Work with IT team for implementation & reviewing the IT projects / Mantis raised in the system

• Other Matters - Advising internal customers, coordinating with internal teams and tax consultants

1. Analysing changes in GST laws, Rules, Circulars and providing impact analysis to the business teams.
2. Responding queries of business teams on GST implications on various transactions.
