Job Description

Software Analysis of electric powertrain for different function clusters Energy Management, Battery Management System, Power Electronics, Battery Charging, Thermal Management, Hybrid drive control etc.,

Evaluation of models using Matlab/Simulink (Reverse engineering of algorithms)

Analysis of various parameters of the software for technical compliance

Support powertrain software developers (ICE/Hybrid/BEV) in Mercedes-Benz with respect to internal Software compliance guidelines

Presentation of analysis results and report generation.

Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering

Minimum Automotive experience of 4-7 years

Expert in Simulink based model development

System level know-how of Powertrain functions (Electric Drive train /Hybrid/ Transmission)

Flexibility to work in international teams.

Good Communication, Presentation and Analytical Skills

Knowledge on certification process of electric vehicle, regulations governing electric vehicles (both BEV and Hybrid) Electric and Emission

Knowledge on data analytics is preferred
